It’s holiday season and I couldn’t be more excited!! I love this time of year where the weather cools down, I can break out my favorite decorations, and of course enjoy some of my favorite holiday foods. Since the kitchen will be getting some heavy usage these next few months, I went to Macy’s to check out some of their latest items to give our space a mini update! To say I hit the jackpot would be an understatement as I am over-the-moon happy about my Macy’s finds — read on to see what I picked up as well as a few other of my recommendations you don’t want to miss!
I’ve had a stand mixer on my kitchen wish list for yearrrs, and I finally pulled the trigger on this beautiful Cuisinart one when I noticed it in the new Arctic Blue color. The mixer has a retro vibe to it, and I just love having it as a statement piece for the kitchen counter. Even better is that it’s been getting plenty of use whipping up potatoes, blending pancake batter, and mixing dough for our favorite sugar cookies!
Mei helped me make a batch of sugar cookies over the weekend, and we all had so much fun putting our personal touches of frosting and sprinkle decorations!
Macy’s has quite the extensive lineup when it comes to kitchen gadgets including brands such as Cuisinart, Ninja, OXO, and Martha Stewart. There’s nothing like a new kitchen toy to get me trying out new recipes and getting excited to cook! And with kids, it’s always so much fun to get them involved and I tend to feel safer when I have an appliance taking the guess work out of it.
